Our Tip of Borneo day trip brings you to the northern most point of Borneo in the quiet town of Kudat. Kudat is well-known for its beautiful beaches and surf spots, some of which you will experience when we take you to the beach where the South China Sea meets the Sulu Sea.

Tip of Borneo aside, Kudat, like much of Sabah, is also renowned for its diverse ethnic groups and cultural heritage. Kudat is home to the Rungus people of Borneo. The Rungus are a sub-ethnic of the Kadazandusun tribe who are known to be highly-skilled artisans. The Rungus community in Kudat produce colourful beaded necklaces, basketry and weaved tapestries. You will experience the beauty of their artistry as you visit a traditional Rungus longhouse.

Used extensively throughout Sabah in celebrations of all sorts, the gong is an important part of Sabah’s culture. The last stop on your Northern Tip of Borneo tour is a visit to Sabah’s very own honey bee farm where we will try the tasty local honey. Our Northern Tip of Borneo Day Trip is an excellent opportunity to experience the Rungus culture, tradition and natural beauty.
